Mixed Emotions!

Screen Shot 2015-05-20 at 10.04.51Good morning friends. Monday I had to say good-bye to the Wilson’s. It was an incredible treat to have them come, serve and be part of what God is doing here. Many prayers were answered and I am excited to see the fruit grow from their labor. Between prayer walks, outreach surveys and seminars on worship/pre-marital/marriage/parenting, we did our best to maximize their time here using their gifting to strengthen the body of believers. I have been greatly encouraged by the follow-up conversations and how the Spirit is stirred in the core group. The fellowship was sweet as the student group hung out with us every night! I am thankful they got to see how God is raising up a generation of believers to take their place in Kingdom work! Please pray for all the seeds sown to grow in good soil. Pray for their transition back to the states finishing school and engaging work!

Between now and mid-summer (June 21st), we have our final stretch before the summer routine. Here are some ways to be praying for us these weeks:

  • The student leadership team will be over for dinner for team building and discussion of finishing well
  • Thursday night we will finish up the Alpha course that has been taught this term on campus
  • Opportunities to build bridges with the different subcultures in the city. We are particularly looking at tangible ways to connect with the immigrants and refugees.
  • Pray for the remainder of financial need for the account I am responsible for to come in so that I may stay on the field!  Click here if you are able to help be an answer to that prayer!

  1. So glad to hear how God is working and the fruit you are seeing and will see. We are praying for you and the ministry. May you see God do even more and know His closeness. Keep fighting the good fight.
