Momentum is building

The local work continues to build. Fredrick, Gloria and Jonah are committed to growing in lifestyle evangelism activities including prayer walking and coffee table. For the first time in years, because of their commitement, we have coffee table happening almost weekly! It is also a gift that Jonah and his mother Judith, a good friend of mine, have moved closer. Now only a 3 mile bike ride, it is a gift to have more opportunity to live life together. Ingrid and Stefan, a local couple that have lived here for over 40 years, continue to be a great support and encouragement to the work. Friday night house church is now building a core group or 7 to 9 people weekly. With another team (From a Swedish Bible school) landing Sunday for 4 days, I am excited to see what God is going to do next! Please pray for these upcoming days.

I am so thankful for a sending church that continues to care for me and engage in global mission. The team helped facilitate house church and interacted with our core community. Saturday we set up a coffee table that yielded many conversations including one young woman, let’s call her Rachel. She had just recently opened herself to God and is curious to learn more. Rachel has accepted the inviation to come to house chruch Friday night, please pray for her. This time the team had the goal to not only support the local work but help take care of my home. There were a number of house projects I do not know how to do that Bob and Ken jumped in and solved. It was an overwhelming gift to me in how effortlessly and thoroughly they served me by taking care of the details.

Every September, the fellowship of churches participate in a leadership summit. It is a great opportunity to serve each local team helping them be strengthened and equipped to press forward. After being in the Word and elevating Christ, each team had the opportunity to reflect on their local church health and process how to move forward. The days prior to this larger gathering, I have the privilege of taking part in the Advisory Team meeting with the Elder Team for Great Commission Europe. Through this team, we serve the different churches through planning events (such as these) as well as equipping and expansion opportunities.

This ministry is only made possible by the generosity of others. It continues to be a humbling experience for all those God raises up to cover the expenses of the account I am responsible for. Having increased support these past two years in order to not be dependent on roommates, the Lord continues to provide. The account now only needs $130 in monthly giving to hit 100%. Please pray for this remaining amount!

Hope you are enjoy something pumpkin and leaves starting to turn a variety of colors! Blessings.

I would love to hear what you are thinking! Feel free to share!
