Over the past month, the house has been full. Guest have left in the morning with new ones arriving in the evening. I had the opporutnity to host a family of 6 who moved away from Sweden a few years ago. As we had worked together in the ministry, it was a gift to reconnect and provide a place of rest for them on their fall break. Then a family serving in Lithunia had fall break and enjoyed a few days galavanting through Stockholm with their daughter. Then as they left, a youth group of 3 leaders and 7 teenagers used my place as a crashing site for a nearby conference. Their energy arriving at midnight both nights was contagious! The apartment is my pretend Bed & Breakfast and I am extremely grateful to have been provided such a place that can serve others. The picture above is one of the visiting families on the left and then some of the women gathered for that evening’s ladies night. We now have eight women gathering on Tuesday evenings with a hunger to grow spiritually and build community! Please pray for these women. I just returned from a week in Malmö, a city on the southern west tip of Sweden across from Copenhagen. This week a speaker was brought in from Global Nomads to share what he has learned along the way coming from a muslim background and seeing multiple new church networks start along the Silk Road, a travel route from Europe to China. It was amazing to see who ended up showing up and hearing what God is doing around different parts of Sweden. There were 5 people from the house church that meets in my home that came. I had the prayer that God would really stir a unified vision and purpose in their hearts for what He wants to do in Stockholm. I am excited for this Friday to hear all that was learned and inspired. One of the guys told me today that after reflecting on some things, he thinks that God is getting ready to send me to something new! Although completely committed to seeing the work in Tensta build a strong foundation, I would be lieing if I didn’t admit I felt the same. Malmö has an increasing pull on my heart and I am looking to take more trips there over the next few months to see how I might help something start there. Please pray for these things.
I am incredilby thankful for you who have continued to pray and support this work. I really do pray that you would experience blessing and joy in what you take part of in Kingdom expansion! Let’s keep praying and anticipating for a God size vision to unfold.
I can’t believe it is six weeks until Christmas! Between now and then, I will host three thanksgivings, take a trip to Malmö and possibly Luleå. I also am praying for a minimum of 20 more interviews for the studies which these locations could also help with getting. Please let me know how I can be praying for you.
Finicial update. The end of year ask this year is $18,000 to finish in the green this year as well as cover all ministry expenses for 2025. This covers one time events such as vision trips to Malmö, the summer mission project, etc. If you are able to help click here!
