Our first team of six in 2025 has returned to Ohio. We had a great week getting out, loving on the neighborhood through grilling and playing in the park, giving away free coffee, and one day even free waffles. Many conversations led to spiritual conversations, which helped create space for others to share the hurdles and struggles with life’s bigger questions. On Wednesday, we set up a table outside a local church and gave away free waffles. Nicole was enticed to grab a waffle and welcomed a teammate to sit and chat while she ate. During the conversation, she shared that she had Christian friends and had thought about it before. She said yes when asked if she wanted to believe and follow Jesus. She commented that she had never been asked if it was something she wanted to do. Please pray that she will enjoy reading the Bible she took, tell her friends, and be excited that she will get to walk in a relationship with God.
Every year, it is amazing the waves of teams that God orchestrates to love loud, serve wholeheartedly, and be willing to deal with the language and cultural hardships in order to extend the kindness and grace of Jesus to the nations. The conversations we are having are deeper, and others are willing to be more vulnerable about their stories. More Bibles are being taken. Please pray for the work that has started and how the teams will build on one another in order to see the work expand here in northwest Stockholm. We have one team a month through October. Please keep praying!

Emilia and Emilia are two Swedish ladies who took the opportunity to intern with me for 18 days. Their first week was helping host and engage the Ohio team. This next week, they will continue to labor in the area as well as explore how to grow and develop into who God created them to be. Please pray for them and for this week to be impactful. Pray for me to learn how to encourage them and provide opportunities for them to thrive.
There are a handful of people we met through the coffee table who have checked out our Friday fellowship time. There is still a lot of wrestling going on, but conversations are continuing. Please pray for us to follow up well, have discernment in when to listen and where to challenge, and that we would grow. Pray for two guys, G and R, to wrestle well with their fears, questions, doubts, and misunderstandings.
Pray for the preparations to start for our summer project, Euro-Linc, which will be here this June. A 3-week intensive focusing on encouraging and equipping others to make disciples among the nations. We are trusting God will use this next team to continue expanding the work. This year, the American missionaries (including me) are training a junior staff team made up of an Afghan, a Romanian, and a Swede to lead the project. We are excited to continue to see nationals raised up to lead the vision well.
Some personal updates:
- The Studies. I continue to make progress in completing my thesis. Currently, I am working on writing the conclusions I have found from the data research. Please pray that the Lord would give me insights and understandings so that this work can encourage and strengthen the church.
- Life is super full with juggling the studies, teams, local ministry, and then some of the roles I play for our Europe network, Great Commission Europe (Supervisor, Expansion Team, Netherlands Board Chair). Please pray!
- Financial Update. Praise the Lord for the gifts that continually come in, making this work possible! The account is in good standing with monthly giving! There is a financial need to cover the one-time costs of the EuroLinc project, Initaive projects (where I travel to other cities in Sweden to continue to invest, coach, and team with locals to see new works started), and the Leadership Summit for Europe leaders in October. If you would like to help contribute to the total need of $4600, click here.

Thankful for you!
I would love to hear what you are thinking! Feel free to share!
