This season seems to be marked by a common theme: I am always behind. So here is a taste of the whirlwind. For three weeks this fall, I had the privilege of getting to host two different teams sent from Swedish organizations. Thankful for the opportunity to invest in the next generation of Swedes who are passionate about knowing Christ and making Him known. The team of four and then a team of thirteen served a few hundred cups of coffee, distributed numerous Bibles, and effectively represented Jesus’ love and kindness. The encounters continue to reveal a deeper hunger for spiritual conversations and genuine interests in learning the truth about Jesus and the Bible.

Studies to Sabbatical.

After four and a half years, I have come to the end of this program. Although wrapping up the dissertation over the past two months may have caused my brain to start malfunctioning, it has been a privilege to have the opportunity to study. I have learned a great deal from the research and already see how it improves the work of engaging other cultures in discipleship and church planting. I will get to graduate on December 13th at CIU in South Carolina.
After 25 years of living a life of ministry, 17 of those years being employed at Reliant, there is an invitation to take a sabbatical. A sabbatical is a guided process that allows me to disengage from my normal ministry/work life, providing space for reflection, evaluation, and exploring opportunities for what is next. Getting to engage front-line work for the Kingdom remains a passion of mine, and I look forward to using this time to reset, reboot, and relaunch for another 25 years. It is also an exciting opportunity to see others in the community step up and take ownership of the vision, working at another level.

As most of you know, this ministry is funded by the generous donations of those looking to support the work in seeing the Gospel go to unreached, unchurched places. To date, I am currently at 97% of my monthly goal. I continued to be humbled and honored to get to partner with you with in the gospel and for the sacrifices you make to make this possible. THANK YOU!
As I look to close out this year and prepare the budget for 2026, we are looking to raise $14,000. Please join me in praying for this need.
