still melting

IMG_0919May in Luleå means temperatures rising to almost the 40s and almost 19 hours of sunlight! And yes you can still see piles of snow melting. It reminded me of Psalm 97:

The LORD reigns, let the earth rejoice; let the many coastlands be glad! Clouds and thick darkness are all around him; righteousness and justice are the foundation of throne! Fire goes before him and burns up his adversaries all around. His lightnings light up the world; the earth sees and trembles. The mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth. The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all the peoples see his glory. (verses 1-6)

Can you imagine watching the Colorado Rookies melting like wax before the Lord? Crazy! Our God is amazing. and He is worthy to be praised. He truly reigns and we know without a shadow of a doubt He holds the victory!

The students have about four weeks of school left and are very busy with projects and exam prep. Some students will finish this semester and are looking for work. A couple of students are preparing for marriage this summer. Many of them will spend the summer with no other christians or a church nearby. Please pray for them. That these last weeks together would overflow their cups and that they would hunger and thirst for righteousness!

We are also planning on some outreaches throughout the summer to learn sow seeds and make more connections with those far from God. Please pray for us. Pray that the Spirit would go before us and cultivate the soil. That the hardness would be softened and ready to receive truth!
