LUKas

LUKas stands for Luleå University’s Christians. As we began our partnership with Luleå in 2009, working with college students was our stepping stone toward the bigger vision of what is doing here in the north of Sweden. Still a strategic piece to a city reaching dream, I get the privilege of praying for, serving and connecting with students that they may be established in their faith, envisioned to take the gospel to their peers, and equipped as workers for the Kingdom of God. Here is the new leadership team – Julee, Samuel, Gustav, Josef, and EliaScreen Shot 2015-03-31 at 21.38.06s. Each of them has enjoyed being part of LUKas and are thankful and excited to serve for the next year. The leadership team is decided at the end of January and will serve for the spring and fall term. Please join me in praying for them as they are being stretched in leadership skills, communication, and of course having big dreams with little time.

Pray also for upcoming opportunities we will have to build bridges with those far from God –

– CAFE NIGHTS – Advertised with a thought provoking question, we will host two evenings where we hope to draw seekers to discussion. The first one is next Thursday (April 9th) and will discuss human equality. The evening will include God’s heart and a biblical perspective.

– BIKE REPAIR DAY – An opportunity to meet a specific need and engage students will bikes are tuned up for spring. We desire to serve and help, but also want to share the love of Jesus who motivates us to love others. Pray for boldness and opportunity.
