Something is brewing!

Last week I had the opportunity to spend time in Stockholm meeting many workers for the Kingdom learning how God is moving. Over the past year, God has encouraged me to take steps to look beyond Luleå and see how God was inviting us to engage in a new area of Sweden. As the Hultmar family moved to Stockholm, we saw an opening to continue our partnership with the evangelical free church with Richard Hultmar. This year is a both/and sort of year as we take steps to engage in a new partnership in Stockholm while also building upon what has started in Luleå!

A city of more than 2 million people with growing influence in the world, there is something brewing for the Kingdom of God to expand from this country. It was a great opportunity to hear where churches are as well the ideas for future church plants…which we will get to be part of!

As most of you know, I have started part of my time in partnership with United World Mission (UWM) to helping the work expand in Europe. Our desire as we see how God is moving and meet national leaders is to partner churches with churches to work together. Very much like how Riverbend Community Church (my exceptional sending church :)) and the churches in Luleå working together for advancing the Kingdom. I got to meet some amazing leaders last week in Stockholm whom I hope that we will move forward in building even more partnerships. This includes the refugee work as we learn where asylum seekers are living and how to build bridges to the nations next door!

Thank you for your incredible generosity in allowing me to remain here in the midst of this work!!! Let’s continue to praise God for what He is doing and choose to take moments to battle in prayer that the gospel would go forth!
