It has been a wonderful gift to know that we can count on one another to intercede and support when storms rise. Mac went through a surgery yesterday that has proven to be effective to take a step toward stabilizing the situation. He is spending hopefully the last night in ICU in order to be monitored closely and will be moved tomorrow to another room for the next step of recovery. Mac’s wife Jeanne flew into today which brings comfort and peace for them to walk out this week together. It looks like it will take at least another 5 to 7 days to build up strength to make the flight home where further recovery can take place. Please continue to lift them up in prayer for provision in financial need as well as discerning the logistics for full health.
For those of you that know Mac won’t be surprised by this….even through the pain and exhaustion, the hospital staff is already effected by Mac and his love and care. Jesus just oozes out of him. There is no doubt great hope and joy being shared with all in that ICU wing this week!
The team and I have been able to keep meetings in between hospital visits and continue to make plans for exciting opportunities coming later this year partnering together for God’s glory.
May the Lord strengthen and encourage your heart knowing there is a great cloud of witnesses that surrounds us! We do not walk this journey alone!
Wow, what a surprising way to make an impact there in Sweden. Continuing to pray for Mac and his full recovery.
