November was full of exciting events that strengthened friendships and provided more opportunity for deeper conversations. It was also a season of being sick as I was taken out for almost a week with a respiratory infection and then another week with covid. It was a packed month! Thank you for praying with me and investing in this work.
December is going to kick-off with a trip to Mälmo. I believe the Lord has led our team to host the missions summer project for 2024 there. Mälmo is the third largest city in Sweden (about 700,000 people) and it is one of the majority-minority cities of Europe. The majority of the population is migrant people groups, not Swedes. It is the home of about 171 different nationalities. Currently in Sweden almost 4% of our population consists of 21 ethnic groups that are classified as unreached people groups. That is twice as many people that are members of free churches. Next week I will spend a few days meeting with different leaders to learn how the work is currently going as well as cast the vision of how we want to come alongside the saints there to see God move.
Home visit is approaching fast. I will travel through different cities and time zones and hope to connect with as many of as possible. I will spend days in: New Jersey (end of January); Kent, Ohio (Feb. 1-4); Manhattan, Kansas (Feb. 5-7); Salt Lake City, Utah (Feb. 8-11); Jacksonville, Florida (Feb. 12-18); and Columbia, South Carolina (Feb. 19-Mar 3). Looking forward to getting to share more about this work and see how life is unfolding for you!
End of the Year Goal. Incredibly humbled and thankful for the continued to support to make this work possible. There is still the need of $400 in monthly commitments and $10,800 in one time gifts. If you would like to be part of the answer, or know someone who would, you can use this link!
Enjoy this season of anticipation, hot cider and hopefully getting to build a snowman! Talk soon! Blessings, Sarah
