2nd year & 5th year

downloadI have now lived in Luleå for 4 months. It has been an incredible season learning and, well, learning some more!

Here are ways I have kept busy these past few months:

  • August: River’s Edge sent Miranda to serve for 2 weeks! LINC – 10 day spiritual boot camp for students learning how to seek God through prayer and reading the Bible. Host a dinner for campus leadership team to get to know them and hear their goals for the semester.
  • September: Participate in the church retreat developing relationships with more of the families in town! Deepen relationships with other women both in the community and on campus. Mike & Jason come to visit! Got to visit great friends in the south of Sweden as well as meet with other church planters.
  • October: Getting use to going to school 5 days a week 🙂 learning Swedish and building relationships with many from all over the world! As well as hanging out with students, prayer walking, facilitating a discipleship group w/ students interacting with God’s Word, and starting an international english speaking group!
  • November: continuing all that fun activity, seeing another international group start, leadership training with the campus team and HANDING IN THE PAPER WORK FOR YEAR TWO!!!! That’s right, having just gotten my feet wet, we decided I will continue into next year! After the holidays, I will return to Luleå and continue to take steps toward our vision.

This fall I celebrate 5 years working with Great Commission Ministries! It has been an incredible gift to walk this journey. I want to thank you for your continued support. Thank you for making the ministry a reality!
