Thanksgiving Day

IMG_0694Celebrating new friends in a new land! The classmates I have at SFI (Swedish for Immigrants as well as my home group gathered together Thursday night to celebrate. Thanks to my uncle, we were able to watch the Macy’s Parade at 3 pm our time and then ate a feast! For many, it was there first Thanksgiving! The children made turkey hats with feathers representing what they were thankful for. It was a wonderful evening and a great opportunity to deepen friendships!
