Temperatures have dropped to the 20s this week and I am very thankful when the sun is shinning! Our days are slowly getting shorter as we enter the toughest months of the year due to the climate. I have learned that many people look forward to temperatures close to 10 for a few weeks so that the ice would freeze thick enough for the ice roads to be created. Then there is the desire for the snow to make everything brighter. If the snow comes too soon, then the ice will not freeze thick enough. So I am learning what pros exist in colder climates!
CELEBRATE! The students and young professionals continue to grow with their relationship with Jesus and more opportunities to share their believes continues to increase. Johanna, my 13-year-old friend, recently prayed with her friend Ellen as she made a decision to follow Jesus. More coworkers are asking questions and curious to find people who believe in Jesus and read the Bible. It’s exciting to see what God is doing!
- PLEASE PRAY:
- I spend about 16 hours a week in school. My classmates are from Iran, Burma, Somalia, Afghanistan, China, Thailand, and Nigeria. It is amazing to see how God continues to bring the nations to cities that they may hear the good news of Jesus Christ. Please pray for bridges to be made that we may spend time together outside the classroom.
- As you know, this ministry is only made possible by the generosity of others. In order to stay here for another length of time, I am in need for need supporters. Please pray that God would provide the finances to cover all the costs!
