Some quick prayer requests!

I love technology and the way it can help us stay connected with what is happening and how to pray!

Deeper Conversations.  I am slowly getting more comfortable with having conversations that just involved surface layer connection. NOT my comfort zone. I would rather get to good and ugly of our hearts 🙂  But as time moves, I am praying for deeper conversations to connect with others in that deep place need for Jesus.

Essi. The way it works in the school system here is that instead of a traditional guidance department we would expect in the states, the teachers are paired with a co-mentor. We meet with a group of 31 students each week and keep tabs on them. Essi, the librarian is the co-mentor I get to work with. She is awesome. Married with a 5-year-old daughter. She has invited me over for dinner after work Wednesday.

Cheman. A kurdish woman I met on a walk in my neighborhood over the summer. Although she pointed where her apartment was, I hadn’t figured out where she was. I ran into her tonight in the small store in my town square.  We walked together and she showed me the door and code I need to get in. When asked about her story, she said we could take it over tea! I am hoping to connect with her this Sunday.

Charlotta. Another coworker who I shared my story with a couple of weeks ago. Looking for an opportunity to connect and become friends.

Regional Gatherings.

DPE. Thank you for your prayers for this past week. There was about 100 leaders from around Europe that met for the Diaspora People of Europe. These days are not just to share about best practices and testimonies of what God is doing. We want to move to action. With the nations moving to European cities, the task is too large for any one organization. These days we have the opportunity to learn, share resources and make plans to parter toward what could be. Very thankful to have had the opportunity to be there.

Simple Church Networks in Sweden. This weekend I will gather right here in Stockholm with many from all over Sweden that have stepped out with this model of church. We will learn, listen, seek God and share how the work is going here in Sweden. Pray for our time to be refreshed in vision, model and method as we desire to see God’s Kingdom move forward in every shape and size needed that each man, woman and child has the opportunity to hear the hope and love found in Jesus.

Sleep. I am loving all that God is doing and what I get to part of. Please pray for rest and refreshment in the midst of it all. Pray for health and that I would walk in the right rhythm to live well.
