Always enjoy the first weekend of advent when the Christmas stars fill windows everywhere bringing light to our darkness. Praying that you and your families have a wonderful holiday season filled with overflowing joy and renewed hope in our Risen Lord.
Some upcoming opportunities we could use your prayer:
– Saturday the 15th we will be hosting a Christmas Party for a local refugee home in our neighborhood. We will have tea, saffran christmas treats and take an opportunity to share the story of Christmas. Our hope is to build bridges so that we may get to start a language cafe and ultimately bible studies in the building. There are more than 200 people that live there. We may have all 200 come or maybe just 20. Please pray for us as we prepare and see how the Lord leads!
– Sunday the 17th the two families we have grown close to this year have accepted our invitation to attend Hillsong Stockholm’s Christmas Show. Join us in praying for their hearts to be impacted with the truth of Jesus and that the conversations we have had over the past year about the Messiah would become personal to them.
– A 19 year old girl was introduced to us this past weekend. She has had many dreams of the cross and is seeking Jesus. There are many hurdles in her way of making a decision to follow Jesus and be baptized. Please pray for her and for Caroline to know how to patiently walk with her these next few weeks as friendship grows.
– I will fly home on the 22nd to enjoy the holiday with my family and get to meet my niece, Gemma, who just turned 4 months old.
