Maybe the Chronicles of Narnia book series is familiar to you. Aslan, the character representing Jesus, enters Narnia in the dead of winter as the world lived in bondage to evil. As winter melts into spring, rising hope is felt as word spreads that Aslan is on the move. Just as in Narnia, where the long, dark winter began to thaw, we are seeing the frozen, hard places begin to melt under the power of God’s presence today. There continues to be a clear, felt spiritual shift in our neighborhoods today. I am excited to give you a glimpse. And remember, this ministry exists only because of your generosity in prayer and giving. I pray you will celebrate what you are part of!

EURO-LINC. Our summer project took place in Cologne, Germany, this past month. This missions opportunity is a bit more than your average trip, with a more focused training curriculum and hours in the harvest, engaging people in spiritual and worldview conversations. At one point, there were 41 to feed on the team representing 8 countries! Over 300 people from 44 nations had a conversation about Jesus; 13 of them have already followed up for more discussion, and 8 decided to follow Jesus. Many of those have already visited the church. Celebrate!

G is for Guleed. The core group of the house church continues to meet. I recently told Guleed that I have mentioned him using G as a code name inviting others to pray for his journey. He has officially decided to follow Jesus. In many ways he decided this a while ago, yet it has been a gift to get glimpses of his journey as he wrestled and really considered what He believes. He just announced he wants to get baptized. Please continue to pray for him as he navigates walking out his faith and how his testimony can impact others. Celebrate with us!

This fall we will continue to have a coffee table, prayer walk, and hopefully have an english conversation group. We are desiring not to be busy for the sake of being busy, but to serve well, to love loud and to create environments for people to discover who Jesus is and why He is the good Shepherd. UPPSALA. Over the years, there has been invitiation to enter into new places in Sweden to help encourage the saints and cast vision for church planting and missions. Through these updates, I have attempted to invite you to pray for Luleå, Stockholm, Örebro, and Malmö. Now we add Uppsala. Richard Hultmar, who you may know, is the one who originally invited us to partnership here in Sweden with our first trip back in 2009! Can you believe it!?! A little over a year ago, he accepted a new position pastoring in Uppsala. We recently met to dream a little of what God might be inviting us into. Uppsala is the fourth largest city in Sweden and a univeristy town about 45 minutes north of Stockholm. Lots of opportunities! so celebrate what God is going to do!

Sabbatical did officially end about a month ago. I am very thankful for the time to step away, reflect, and consider what comes next. Finishing the studies after 5 years opens up more time and energy to pour myself out in a variety of ways, yet there is the desire to affirmed with the coming objectives. My supervisor and I are diligently working on the new job description. I appreciate prayers as this all gets worked out and will give more specifics next time!

Praise the Lord for a new donor at $100 a month! An incredible gift and help. Although the monthly support is in good standing, there is the need of some one-time gifts to cover some upcoming ministry expenses. Our yearly leadership summit meeting is at the end of September will be about $1000 for flight and conference fees. There is the desire to follow up with some of the ladies I get to serve in a coaching role. If funds allow for an in person visit, that would be amazing. There is also the desire to schedule a trip up north to Luleå to visit the saints there and encourage the work.
