Retreat for Ukraine’s Weary Ministry Leaders. For more than four years, pastors, ministry leaders, and Christian workers across Ukraine have faithfully served amid war, displacement, grief, and uncertainty. They have provided humanitarian aid, cared for refugees, comforted the hurting, and shared the hope of Christ—often at great personal cost.

Yet these faithful servants are weary—physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

During this weekend, I have been invited to join the team that will host a retreat for over 50 pastors, ministry leaders, and frontline workers from across Ukraine. The retreat will provide a much-needed opportunity for rest, fellowship, prayer, and renewal, along with time to process the spiritual, emotional, and physical weight of years spent serving in crisis.

Even Jesus recognized the need for His disciples to step away and rest. These leaders have spent years pouring themselves out for others; now we have an opportunity to encourage and strengthen them so they can continue serving with renewed hope and strength.

Please pray for these leaders and for the team of six traveling from four countries to serve them. Pray that this retreat would be a place of genuine rest, healing, encouragement, and renewed strength in the Lord.

GCE Advisory Team Meeting and Europe Leaders’ Summit. As a part of the Advisory Team, we start our meetings on the 28th and have a time of reflection, prayer, and planning as our team seeks God’s direction for the year ahead. Pray for wisdom as we consider how to strengthen existing ministries, support leaders and churches, and explore opportunities for new ministry.

Immediately following, the  Europe Leaders’ Summit (ELS)  will take place October 1–4. Church leaders from across Europe will gather for learning, encouragement, and equipping. This year there is a focus on the  priesthood of all believers—encouraging and activating every part of the local church to live out their faith and participate in mission and ministry.

Please pray for both gatherings—that God would give wisdom, unity, and fresh vision to our leaders, and that these times together would strengthen the Church and advance the gospel throughout Europe.
