Currently State-side

My family both in NJ and FL had left up Christmas decorations so that we could celebrate together. Thankful for family!!!
First stop was Kent, OH. I was encourage to hear and see how what different teams had learned & practiced in Sweden is being implemented on their campus.
I got to meet up with Julia, who spent 3 months with me last year. Thankful to see her continue to take steps forward in all areas of her life.
I celebrated Chinese New Year with one of my best friends with a Chinese hot pot in Kansas. Great conversation and care.
Next onto to Utah. The Rock has an incredible heart for missions and partnering globally. Excited to see what team comes this May.
Hello mountains! Every turn is a new spectacular view! Being in nature continues to fill my tank.
I had the opportunity to watch the Super Bowl with a few families where at least one of them had been to Sweden. It was great to just get to hang out and deepen friendships. And amazing to get to watch the game in the correct time zone!
I arrived in South Carolina Monday, the 19th. I had a great visit along the coast with a family I haven’t seen in about 15 years. What a gift to reconnect and catch up on what God is doing. Thankful for long term friendships that have stood the test of time.

It is an incredible gift to be so cared for by so many people. Thank you for being intentional and sacrificial. Thank you for the meals that were prepared, the time carved out and the desire to treat me to American treats I miss living abroad. Thank you for the kids that gave up beds for me to sleep in and the willingness to let me put miles on your vehicle. Thankful for community God continues to strengthen and how we get to be friends on mission together.

I am in the Columbia/Lexington area of SC for the next 10 days. I am excited for the home groups I will get to visit and my home church’s missions conference the first weekend of March. If you haven’t made plans yet, please get in touch. I have lots of lunch and coffee dates available!

Financial update. Giving praise to a new monthly supporter and a little over $1000 that came in these past few weeks! Still looking for $400 in monthly support and about $8000 in one time gifts.
